Learn about RSVP Dating Consultant Kerry

What makes you laugh?

RSVP Client Adviser Kerry Walker

Anything from the traditional sitcom Only Fools and Horses through to topical comedy programmes like The Friday Night Project.

What are your greatest achievements?

I’m very proud of the various charity runs I’ve done (this is me shown right with fellow RSVP runner Theresa and Phil Tuffnell after the 2007 Great Gorilla Run) and also my voluntary work in the disabled sector. I’m proud of my degree and my home and I’ve also travelled extensively. I’ve managed to give up smoking too!

What music do you like?

Contemporary music: Indie and pop. I listen to artists from Kylie to the Kaiser Chiefs and I love live music though preferably at smaller venues.

Do you like to travel?

I'm passionate about it - I back-packed for five years after university; worked for two years in Greece and also travelled around Israel and Egypt. Then I spent eighteen months in Australia and New Zealand. Now my backpacking days are over and though I still like interesting destinations, I prefer a little luxury!

What do you like to read?

My literary taste is also modern, so I read contemporary fiction and I’m a member of a book group which meets once a month.

What's your favourite film?

That would have to be the fast moving, cockney crime movie, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

View from a bar overlooking the Seine

Describe your perfect day?

A day of extravagance: a champagne brekkie before boarding a flight to Paris. Then lunch in the warm sunshine where I’d sip a large glass of wine in a bar overlooking the Seine.

What are your hobbies?

Anything adrenalin fuelled, from jet skiing to tank driving. You'll often find me hosting this kind of RSVP event - and I have the war wounds to prove it!

I love a challenge and, though shaking with trepidation, I’ve done the Leap of Faith at Go Ape which inspired me to do the Great Gorilla Run - five km around the Tower of London dressed as a gorilla!

I’m very active and I regularly go to the gym and do spinning and running. I also love socialising and have great group of friends from the past. I enjoy eating out. I often visit my friends and I’m always ready for that weekend away...

Kerry interviews potential members in London, across the northern Home Counties and beyond.
